Kildare County is seeking to establish a panel of Executive Urban Designer to fill permanent and contract posts that arise during the life of the panel.
Education/Experience, Etc.:
Hold a minimum educational qualification of primary degree in a relevant built environment subject AND postgraduate qualification in Urban Design;
Have a track record in Urban Design and Placemaking;
Have a minimum of three years work experience at an appropriate level of responsibility in a related position following graduation;
Demonstrate knowledge or experience of assessment procedures and practice relating to the natural environment;
Possess excellent communication skills;
Possess good organisational and management skills;
Be enterprising, innovative, and capable of working to a brief on his/her own initiative and;
Research skills including the ability to carry out high quality background research and urban design analysis in conjunction with report writing experience.
*Non-Irish Qualifications must be accompanied by a determination from Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) to establish their comparability against the Irish National Framework of Qualifications, overseas qualifications must also be accompanied by a translation document.
