Kildare County Council for Department of Transport Support Office is seeking to establish a panel of IS Analyst Developers– Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Projects to fill permanent and contract posts that arise during the life of the panel.
Desirable:
It is desirable that candidates, through their application form and at the interview stage, demonstrate knowledge and experience in the following:
1 .Management of GIS Projects from inception to delivery.
2 . Requirements analysis and business process analysis.
3 . GIS principles and mapping concepts, for e.g. grids, projections, transformations, generalisation, accuracy, precision etc.;
4 . Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Map, ArcGIS Online components, in particular, but not limited to:
- User account administration
- WebApp Builder
- Field Maps / Survey123
- Operations Dashboard
6 . Data Governance and familiarity with Open Data concepts.
7 . Spatial analysis and visualisation techniques.
8 . Processing, cleaning, creation and maintenance of spatial datasets.
9 . Geospatial data storage and management.
